Answers
Is low-impact exercise effective?
Yes. Low impact refers to how much stress a movement puts through your joints — not how hard you work. Resistance bands, bodyweight training, and functional movement can meaningfully build strength, balance, mobility, and endurance while staying kind to knees, hips, backs, and shoulders.Do I need to be fit before starting?
No. We begin exactly where you are today. Many clients start with a break of years — or a lifetime — behind them, and the first sessions are built around getting comfortable and moving well. What happens during the free consultation?
It is a relaxed, 30-minute conversation about your goals, your experience, your schedule, and anything your body needs us to work around. There is no workout, no sales pressure, and no payment. At the end you will know whether we are a good fit.Can training be adapted for joint sensitivity or limited mobility?
Adapting training is the core of this work. Range of motion, tempo, positioning, and equipment are all adjustable, and we change them as your comfort and ability change. Is coaching available online, in person, or both?
Both, where availability allows. Virtual sessions run live over video, and in-person coaching is available in the Piedmont Triad area. We can also mix the two.Do I need special equipment?
Not to begin. Most programming uses your own body weight and simple resistance bands. If something else would help you progress, we talk about it first — nothing expensive is required. Will I be asked to pay when booking?
No. The consultation is free, and no payment or credit card information is collected anywhere on this site. How do I reschedule or cancel my consultation?
Your confirmation email contains reschedule and cancel links you can use at any time. You are also welcome to reply to that email or call site.phone.
